Completed in 1904, the building has been called "a steel structured building dressed up in classical robes." On this tour, we'll take in the sumptuous light court, beautiful glazed terra cotta details and breathtaking grand staircase. We'll take a trip to the top floor too, where you'll see the building's round, six-foot diameter windows up close. Daniel Burnham produced the 1909 Plan of Chicago in this building and its architectural legacy continues today, with several architecture firms housed inside.
