Program Speaker: Gabrielle Lyon

Gabe Lyon

Gabrielle Lyon is a nationally recognized non-profit leader, educator and public speaker on education reform. Gabrielle joined CAF in 2014 and is responsible for leading the organization's thinking on how to engage youth, educator, mentor and family communities to explore the built environment and design thinking through in-person and online experiences.

Program Speaker: Michael Wood

Michael Wood

Michael Wood joined CAF in 2010, when he was hired to steward the newly formed Association of Architecture Organizations (AAO) as its first Executive Director. In 2015, Michael’s leadership role with CAF expanded to overseeing the development of CAF's lectures and public events. As Senior Director of Program Strategy, Michael coordinates institution-wide efforts to create new programs and visitor experiences for adult audiences.

Program Speaker: Shera Street

Shera Street

Shera Street is the Director of Museum Planning for CAF, overseeing the development, design and fabrication of exhibits and public spaces for the new Chicago Architecture Center. Prior to joining CAF, Shera was the Associate Director for MMM, a graduate program in Business and Design Innovation at Northwestern University. Her professional background also includes project management for innovative public exhibition projects and show productions at the Adler Planetarium and more than a decade as a production manager and producer of professional theatre in Chicago, most notably with Goodman Theatre and Rivendell Theatre Ensemble.
