This multi-week program is designed to engage students ages 14-18 in place-based research. The teens will dive into a Chicago neighborhood’s history, practice public speaking and serve as interactive guides at select locations during CAF’s annual Open House Chicago festival in October.
The program requires attendance at trainings and Open House Chicago from 9am—3:30pm on July 16-20, Sept. 29, Oct. 6, 13-14 and 20 and Dec. 1. Participants who complete the program will earn a $500 stipend.
An application and brief interview is required. Space is limited and your application does not guarantee acceptance.
